A smarter approach to New Year’s resolutions

Every year is the same old story… Everyone make a bunch of New Year’s resolution and fail.

Repeat the year after and fail.

I think that the major problem is that one year time horizon is too long.

So my suggestion is to have this New Year’s Resolution:

Commit to change one single thing, to create one single habit, to do small changes. And do it every Month.

It will be a 12 improvements per year if it works and will be easier to manage and to check the implementation process.

Bonus Tip: change the name of your daily alarm with something that remind you the objective of the month. It will be a useful daily reminder of that great thing you are going to accomplish.
